Current Opportunity

Position : Junior Consultant

Location : South Jakarta, Indonesia

As a Junior Consultant at DAY, you will support the team in delivering finance, accounting and tax services to clients, while learning how the finance function can act as a strategic business partner rather than just a back-office function.

Key Responsibilities
Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping and preparation of basic financial reports

Support the preparation and filing of tax returns (monthly and/or annual) under the direction of senior staff

Perform reconciliations of financial data (bank, receivables, payables and other related accounts)

Prepare working papers and supporting documentation for internal review and client purposes

Coordinate with internal team members and, when required, with clients regarding data requests and clarifications

Contribute to the preparation of management reports and basic analyses for clients
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

Minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; 0–2 years of experience in a consulting firm, public accounting firm or corporate environment is an advantage

Good understanding of basic accounting and taxation principles in Indonesia

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must; experience with accounting software is an advantage

Detail-oriented, disciplined and possessing strong analytical skills

Able to work independently as well as in a team environment

Able to communicate effectively in both Bahasa Indonesia and English (English proficiency is a must)

Strong work ethic and high commitment to the quality of deliverables
